The African Heritage and Cultural Institute of America Inc. (AHCI)  is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to the preservation and advancement of Black sacred music. In 2001 AHCI produced the best-selling African American Heritage Hymnal.  For over twenty years, AHCI funded a variety of projects in Africa. Since 2003, AHCI has given over $200,000 in scholarships to AHCI scholars and over $300,000 in small grants and humanitarian aid to African businesses and agencies. Currently AHCI sponsors black sacred musical events and supports students’ organ lessons.
